| Directions | From Carlisle area: take the A595 heading west. At the first roundabout, turn
left towards Town Centre. (This is Gote Road). Continue down hill, past
Walkers factory on left, past Gote Road car repair garage on right. The
ground entrance will then be just after the last terraced house on your
right, just before the bridge. From Penrith area: head west on the A66, bypass Keswick, go past Bassenthwaite Lake, go straight over roundabout next to the “The Sheep & Wool Centre”. (To avoid the town centre, do not turn right here) Instead continue to the next roundabout & take the 2nd exit onto A595 towards Carlisle. Go up the hill & continue to roundabout where Maryport will be signposted left. Do not turn left, instead turn right into Gote Road. (Then follow directions shown in italics above) |
